Young Fashion Designers, standalone showcase: India Runway Week Season 5

The India Runway Week is Asia’s youngest fashion trade event. The category of designers is NewGen, Budding & Emerging.

 The IFFD (The Indian Federation for Fashion Development)is organising its 5^th edition of India Runway Week. An only platform where young designers will showcase for India’s Fashion.

It’ll be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, there will be a showcase of Winter Festive Collection from 4-6 September 2015.

Kiran Kheva, Fashion Director of the IFFD said “India’s young designers have never been stronger but they are more creative. There are many reasons that IFFD believes in young designers, it gives the young designers a business platform to showcase during their market dates and is an opportunity to demonstrate their talent to the important segment of the industry.”

Avinash Pathania, Founder Director of the IFFD said “The effort to continue with the USP of the India Runway Week that is young designers is not just backed by IFFD and participating established designers, but also by the Indian editors and retailers who have contributed as we have built this in last 4 seasons, and they will continue to be involved in our planning. Sooner or later big corporate will also show interest in the young talent of fashion industry”

IRW will witness the presence of many bollywood celebrities. Celebrities like Gauhar Khan, Taapsee pannu will be walking the ramp for different designers. Gauhar khan will walk for Jewelry Designer Akassh K Aggarwal.

Across three days, fashionistas will be treated to a packed scheduled featuring a line up of some of India’s very fresh designers in New Gen Category Rishi & Soujti, Garima Sharma, Ojasvita mahendru, Divya shah & Lipsa Jain, Karan Sanger, Ekta Goel, Kanika & Sugandh, Kinjal khimasia, Pankaj jain, Bani pasricha , showing their Winter Festive season collections.

Rishi & Soujti, Garima Sharma, Ojasvita mahendru, Divya shah & Lipsa Jain, Karan Sanger, Ekta Goel, Kanika & Sugandh, Kinjal khimasia, Pankaj jain, Bani pasricha , Anupam Kumar, Ankita & Akshita will also be on show in the Budding designer category. Runway shows will also be featuring much-loved, regular designers of Runway Week Manish Gupta, Liz Paul, Dhruv & Akanksha Arora, Rohini Gugnani, Megha & Jigar & Ashfaque Ahmad.  The India Runway Week line up is the Younger it’s ever been with names like Akshaya Wadhwa, Nidhi Kejriwal, Biba Kohli,Satomi by Rakam Abdul Halder, Himmat Singh & Shravan Kumar Ramaswamy.

The event will witness the vast collections from Designers like Akash k Aggarwal– “The Boudoir Collection” The Boudoir Collection” is a recreation of a glorious era of grandeur, splendor and preciousness of jewelry vanity. Using flora n fauna motifs makes it an Exotic Royal Indian  celebration with aesthetics in a contemporary perspective & striking combinations of Diamonds, rubies emeralds, pearls, sapphires, citrines n several other semi-precious stones.

Designer Pankaj Jain– Lotus chakra is a Hyderabad based Label .The design philosophy lies in creating traditional Indian silhouettes, which embody femininity, drama and glamour

Kanika Dhupar and Sugandh Dhupar– Their designs are for modern women who are independent and strong and yet rooted to their culture, women who are looking for an identity in their outfits that portrays them.
The strength of these designers lies in uniting our heritage with modern cuts and styles to create dazzling ensembles that evoke interests of the fashionables.
