The Sheraton Hyderabad: Review

Nestled in the heart of Gachibowli, Hyderabad’s sparkling financial district, the year old Sheraton Hyderabad is a grand display of the hotels in future. With sleek straight lines, slim modern architecture and abundant glass surfaces that add endless classiness, the Hyderabad version of this global hospitality expert shone brilliantly in every way, very much like Hyderabadi legacy. Here’s what we thought about this five star hotel.

Location

The best part about this hotel and the most talked about feature is its location. The Gachibowli district is Hyderabad’s centre for economic growth, where all the big tech companies are located. Which is what makes this hotel the ideal place for your business trips. It’s also 30 minutes away from the airport, making it pretty accessible for your travels. Also it’s still city centre enough for you to get a first hand experience of Hyderabadi culture and cuisine, and the heritage sites that dot the old city.

Food

While you’re living at the Sheraton, you’ll get to experience some pretty good food too. The hotel has three dining options, with one being a casual all day dining restaurant with international cuisines, the other being a café which serves delectable baked goods and wines and a third premium pan-Asian restaurant complete with live cooking displays.

Rooms

The rooms at the Sheraton are large and spacious with the luxurious, modern architecture theme running in the interiors as well. It being a tall building, still the view from the window was not that great. That is one thing we didn’t like but we really can’t blame them for that, Hyderabad being financial district you would see mostly banks around you. But we enjoyed the rainforest showers and large bathrooms which let us have long, well deserved pamper sessions. And we also loved the other in-room amenities you can avail as a guest, the little things that make the Sheraton experience great.

 

Spa/Pool

And if the bathrooms and showers are not enough, you can pop into the spa (complete with sauna), which holistically combines Ayurveda and Aromatherapy for a rejuvenating experience. You can also chill out in their outdoor pool or break a sweat in their perfectly equipped gym. The Sheraton ensures that all of its guests are well taken care off, which was something that we really appreciated.

 

All in all, the Sheraton Hyderabad is a nice experience of a luxury hotel that does a great job of keeping its guests happy. It has the gift of good location in its advantage, definitely and we loved how The Sheraton brand was presented in this one, with its unmistakable class and unbeatable efficiency as always.
