Best Natural Face Masks You Can Make At Home
Fall has arrived and it’s all about change, leaving the hot weather behind welcoming the winter season but our skin doesn’t feel that great about this change. We need to take extra care of our skin in this changing weather. It calls for a new skin regimen.
There are people who love experimenting with their skin and try different face pack or beauty products but I am not amongst them. I don’t like experimenting much with my skin, I lookout for the magical ingredients that do everything. Nature has all the solutions to all our skin problems. Few tips you can get from my previous post – http://www.missbloggess.com//2015/08/10-quick-tricks-for-a-beautiful-you-in-summers/.
But for this fall I have a magical solution for all you girls. I am pretty sure you must have heard it from your grand mom or your mom about the wonders Turmeric can do but as young girls we don’t really spend time doing anything for our skin. At some point we have to realise how important it is to take care of everything we possess and turmeric being the most common spice in Indian kitchen’s, it is not even difficult to make full use of it.
Turmeric is not only good for skin but it also detoxes the liver, it helps in beating cold, acts like an anti-inflammatory, smooth out rough and redness but the benefit in which I am most interested in is the skin factor.
Talking about turmeric it comes in 2 forms one which we have in our kitchens the powder form and the root form which looks like a ginger. The yellowness of the turmeric is because of its curcumin, which make it so powerful. I have experienced it myself that after applying turmeric topically, it can cure acne and remove blackheads, stops wrinkles to come, it also helps in removing facial hair.
I often use it as a face mask and scrub too, rubbing it continuously on the skin and leaving it for 20 mins.
For face mask I use:
2-3 pinch of turmeric
½ table spoon of yoghurt
1 table spoon gram flour
For face scrub I use:
2-3 pinch of turmeric
½ table spoon of yoghurt
1 table spoon gram flour
½ table spoon of sugar
After 20 mins rinse it with water. It is advisable to do it at night as it leaves your skin yellow, and you can wash it with face wash or soap in the morning. After rinsing it you might look like an emoji but the after effect will make you a happy emoji as it smooths your skin leaving a healthy glow on your face.
